後記

有人聽聞前年大漠出現奇怪的戰鬥，決定請眾人一起前往調查。

可是大半個月過去，仍找不到任何有關的戰鬥痕跡，最後決定放棄，決定自行使用teleport前往龍之國去。

其餘各人決定從距離希爾城西北偏西約三日腳程沙漠出發一起回希爾城。

行了超過半日，在下午時間，聽到前面沙丘的另一邊有人慘叫，越過沙丘見到小石屋附近有一具無頭的屍體，旁邊有一燒焦的頭顱，另在不遠處還有兩具似乎被燒死的屍體。

在那無頭屍體的旁邊，有一手持戰鎚盾牌的胸甲戰士，之後是一手持關刀的胸甲戰士，二十呎後分別站著兩名分別穿全身甲以及布衫的人。而在另一面的沙丘上，一少女大叫停手，並向穿布衫的人射箭。


將敵人擊倒後，雙方互通名字，那少女名叫＜露西嘉 尼爾斯 Rucia Nails＞，被殺的二人是她的叔叔嬸嬸，而無頭屍體因水袋裏裝滿她家旁水井的水應該是路過的旅人，而其他殺手則不知是何許人。

從無頭屍體身上找到一個小鐵盒，裏面放著一份被火漆封口的信件，上面寫著＜奧帝旺 擔路昆大師 Master Otea-Want Damn-NoQian 親啟＞。

＜露西嘉＞表示她的老師名字正是叫＜奧帝旺＞，不知道叔嬸是否因此事而死，決定將信送往東南龍之山脈老師住處。

在送信途中遇上騎駱駝的獸人沙漠強盜並將他們擊倒，第二天亦在途中擊倒火辣蜈蚣怪。

第四天走到龍之山脈＜奧帝旺＞的居所，卻發現正被一群Ogre包圍，擊退敵人後，＜奧帝旺＞才從山上回來，＜露西嘉＞便將信交到他手中。

＜奧帝旺＞禮貌的要請各人穿過他那四呎高乘三呎闊的小門進入他居所的起居室，然後回到自己睡房閱讀信件。

＜奧帝旺＞看完信後多謝各人送信給他，他邀請各人可否護送他完成信中的請求，由於他需到另一個本位物質界帶一個人回去他原本的地方去，然而，縱使利用魔法手段，他亦不能穿越本位物質界（註1），因此他必需實際移動到目的地，為此，必需利用一種名叫spelljammer的交通工具。

＜奧帝旺＞問明＜露西嘉＞的意向，同意和他一起離開繼續追隨他學習，＜奧帝旺＞領各人到南方的超魔導帝國首都銀鏡城，雖然當地有各式類人，各人仍安然進入，＜奧帝旺＞找到spelljammer的駕駛員＜咸 沙維治 Ham Sandwich＞願意載眾人從＜馬托斯 星系 Sphere Martos＞的＜該亞 大陸 Land Gaia＞往＜卡米諾 星系 Sphere Carmilo＞的＜馬拉卡 大陸 Land Marachar＞再往＜昂塔帕 星系 Sphere Umtapa＞的＜席古 大陸 Land Jeku＞。

＜咸＞領各人離開銀鏡城往南行了一小時到達他收藏的spelljammer，他向眾人介紹他的黑熊獸化人大副＜車兒 Cherry＞，身穿金色全身甲的翻譯＜西菲比奧＞，以及白色圓筒形守衛＜奧圖迪度＞，還有＜咸＞的spelljammer＜千本櫻 Million Falchion＞（註2）。

當眾人進入＜千本櫻＞後，＜咸＞駕駛著它升空，一個小時後進入漆黑的星界（註3），再在星界中飛行一個小時後，＜千本櫻＞再加速進入深空（註3）。


註釋：

(1) 很多本位物質界都有自我保護機制，是用來防止過份強大的生物隨便進出本位物質界以免破壞當地的平衡而設，但這個機制只能限制次完穿越魔法，實際移動出入本位物質界則不受此限，只是一般生物沒可能實際離開本位物質界，只能借助spelljammer的進出本位物質界能力。

(2) 千本櫻是將一百萬把獸人所使用的大刀（Falchion）打造而成的機械獸（effigy)。On the spelljammer, it equipped a set of ballista with 4 huge size heavy crossbow，each crossbow required 2 rounds to load the huge size bolt by a creature，the gunner is able to shot the whole set ballista at once against the same target with single attack roll with -4 penalty

(3) 星界和深空

星界

No air: Creatures not standing onto spelljammer cannot breathe any air.

No gravity: Creatures movement is to flight with perfect maneuverability and a maximum speed of 10 feet per point of intelligence. Creatures may double move but the maneuverability drops to average. Creatures may move up to four times his speed but the maneuverability drops to clumsy. Creatures without intelligence can move up to 10 feet and cannot double move. However, creatures without intelligence can be rode by his pilot and the movement is same as his pilot.
The penalty of range increment of range weapons beyond the first is -1 instead of -2 and there is no maximum range.

Timeless: Age, hunger, thirst, poison. and natural healing do not function, though they resume functioning when the traveler leaves the plane. Any effects with duration longer than instantaneous and varies by level will extend to infinite and resume normal when the traveler leaves the plane.

Illumination: Although there is no day or night, a gray radiance lights the entire plane from all directions. The vision fades at about 1 mile (5280 feet).
